Job Cards were introduced mid-2020 and matured quickly in the following months, spurred by the rapid uptake by users.
Job cards allocate operational tasks to team members. They can be turned on for any of the modules as a general task management tool. They can also be linked to Checklist non-conformances, especially for issues related to equipment. Comments and photographs captured in the checklist are preserved in the job card, providing full information to the person assigned the job card.
Job Cards are lighter than Actions which tend to be used for Safety and Compliance issues.
Job cards record the history of the task, comments and reassignments to other team members. Workers can set the status of their Job Cards to Complete, after which supervisors can review and close the completed Job Cards.
