SHEQTray Events Configuration

Configuring SHEQTray to suit your business needs is managed by System Administrators only.

We recommend engaging a PeopleTray Consultant to assist with your initial configuration.

About SHEQTray Event Types

  • Multiple Event Types can be created by System Administrators
  • Each Event Type can have multiple Subtypes
  • Each Event Subtype can be assigned a Severity Rating
  • Severity Ratings are configured to enable escalate Notifications to the correct people using Workflow Roles

View SHEQTray Event Types

  • Go to Settings > Click Settings on Blue Menu
  • Click SHEQTray Settings > Event Settings
  • Click Event Type > View grid showing Active Event Types
  • Check the Show Inactive box to view Event Types that are not in use
  • Select Inactive event > Click Edit > Click Active > Update
  • Event Types can be deleted only if they have never been used in PT

Adding SHEQTray Event Types

  • Go to Settings > Click Settings on Blue Menu
  • Click SHEQTray Settings > Event Settings
  • Click Event Type > Click New
  • Type Name of Event
  • Count as Incident is ticked by default
  • Untick if New Event is not to be recorded in the Incident Report
  • Active is ticked by default
  • Untick if the New Event is to be reviewed before implementing
  • Click Create to Save

Configure Event Subtypes

  • Go to Settings > Click Settings on Blue Menu
  • Click SHEQTray Settings > Event Settings
  • Click on Configure SubType link of Event type
  • Type Name of Event Subtype
  • Count as Incident is ticked by default
  • Untick if New Event is not to be recorded in the Incident Report
  • Active is ticked by default
  • Untick if the New Event is to be reviewed before implementing
  • Click Create to Save

Configure Event Subtypes

  • Go to Settings > Click Settings on Blue Menu
  • Click SHEQTray Settings > Event Settings
  • Click on Configure SubType link of Event type
  • Click on Configure Severity
  • Click New > Type name for Severity
  • Select NotificationRole – this is a Workflow Role
  • Add sequence

Configure Event Locations

  • Go to Settings > Click Settings on Blue Menu
  • Click SHEQTray Settings > Event Location
  • Click New > Type Location > Create
  • Edit Locations > Click Edit

Configure Cause Types

A default set of Cause Types are available to be configured by a Systems Administrator

  • Go to Settings > Click Settings on Blue Menu
  • Click SHEQTray Settings > Cause Type
  • To Create New, Rename or Delete a Cause Type > Right Click on the required Cause to select the options
